This course introduces a wide variety of movements that the student may encounter on a less frequent basis: French clocks, carriage clocks, Vienna regulators, calendar mechanisms, electric clocks, Black Forest movements, and Early American brass clocks. After completing this course, the student should be able to disassemble and reassemble various clock movements; analyze unfamiliar movements and functions; repair a wide variety of movements; and develop research skills relating to unusual movements.

PREREQUISITE: C-100 - C-900
