This course is a hands-on class in which all types of hairsprings are adjusted and vibrated. Calculations are also covered. After completing this course, the student should be able to identify the different types of hairsprings; pin and collet hairsprings; do train calculations; know the C.G.S. numbering system; know how to manipulate hairsprings; and vibrate hairsprings. |
